I really wish I had a cooler story for how
Bompas and Parr’s Big Rooftop Tea & Golf Party
Having created events that see guests inhale gin & tonic mists, create obscured flavoured chewing gum, walk through (or more accurately past) a chocolate waterfall and, most spectacularly in my view, boat on a green lake on Selfridges’ rooftop (check out my photos of that here), you would be forgiven for thinking that Bompas and Parr should be running out of ideas. You would, of course, be WRONG.
This month, as part of their Big British Bang season, Selfridges have let those crazy cats back up on their roof and this time for a round of crazy golf (look out cars below!). Bompas and Parr have created a unique 9-hole, cake-based course – the licking of obstacles, however, is strictly prohibited. The course will be open daily from 12 noon until 7pm, timed entry tickets will go on sale through TicketWeb tomorrow (21st May) at 12 noon.
Daylesford will also be serving up a traditional afternoon tea (with a twist, of course). You can join them for lunch, proper afternoon tea and summer evening drinks and dinner everyday until 10pm.
So we went in the first week and our golfing skills need work so we might need a rematch come July, and luckily here’s an update with the July tickets!
