Edible Cinema Presents Spirited Away

Earlier this year Edible Cinema presented us with a unique showing of the fantastical film Pan’s Labyrinth, where the audience received food to match specific points in the film to enhance the showing, giving a fuller sensory experience. Now it’s time for another film to get the treatment and it’s time for an extra sense (or two) to be added to Studio Ghibli’s wonderful Spirited Away.

Think Tapioca ‘soap’ powder as Sen bathes the river spirit and a sweet-savoury crunch as Lin chows down on a roasted newt, not to forget the Bombay Sapphire cocktail inspired by the film.

Edible Cinema’s presentation of Spirited Away shows on Sat 25th August at 4pm and Sun 26th August at 9pm at Aubin Cinema. Tickets are available from Monday 13th August by emailing ediblecinema@aubincinema.com and are priced  from £20pp.
