When I was younger (and still to this day)
Nike’s House of Innovation at Selfridges

I’m am an unashamed fan of Selfridges… in what other store can you play mini-golf on the roof and buy McQueen, Nike and Pop Tarts all under one roof. That said I can’t tell you how pleased I was to step into Nike’s House of Innovation space and be hit with a DJ playing Biggie, instant win in my opinion and something that up until now Selfridges had been missing!
Situated on the Lower Ground floor in Selfridges’, appropriately named, Ultralounge, sits a retail space fit for an Olympian. Nike’s House of Innovation is an impressive space which feeds the modern athlete’s physical and digital apetite. Shoppers can trial and buy the latest digitally enabled Nike products or if that’s not your bag, I’m sure the NSW – their amazing high range made in Italy – is!

The space is split into several distinctive zones, featuring interactive experiences designed to encourage and reward movement (to reflect their new fuel band product): The central focal point of the space featurea animations that react to human movement to create an ever changing display.
Head down and check it out for yourself before it closes up shop on August 12th! In the mean time check out their video from the launch…
