When I was younger (and still to this day)
The World’s First Photobooth Festival – 21st July
You know those nights where you and your friends get pretty drunk and then somehow find yourself searching the streets for a photobooth because you just have to immortalise the evening with a strip of photos? Perhaps not. I have, however, had several such evenings and, with that in mind, you can imagine my delight when I received an e-mail about the The World’s first Photobooth Festival hitting East London (just off Columbia road) next Saturday 21st July. It’s probably fun for you responsible sober types and your kids too!
The festival offers unlimited use of over eight one-off themed and hand-made bespoke Photobooth machines (with styles ranging from Warhol-esque colours to cutting edge 3D portraiture) for all entrants, alongside free makeovers from Columbia Rd’s infamous Powder Puff Girls, face painting, fun, food, drink and music from Rough Trade DJ’s.
Tickets are £10 and on sale now through Eventbrite.
