Last week, East London art duo, Static opened their
Vault Festival at the Old Vic Tunnels
For three weeks starting this Thursday (9th Feb), Vault takes over the Old Vic Tunnels – not so secret any more but still a prime venue for some of the more interesting events in London – that run underneath Waterloo. Over the three weeks you can expect as they put it ” kaleidoscopically varied entertainment”. From theatrical gigs of elemental fury to immersive operatic worlds, and from late night themed parties to a horror-exclusive cinema. While we’re not sure what any of that really looks like (with the exception of Silent Opera which we highly recommend) we definitely want to get in on the action.

The Old Vic bar (no need for an event ticket) will be open all afternoon till late night with a devilishly cheap bar and great music.
